Humming
Humming…Such a simple act, yet a powerful tool for calming your nervous system. Just five minutes of humming has been shown to lower blood pressure, slow your heart rate, and improve your mood. It’s something you can do anytime, often quietly, without disrupting those around you.

You might try humming one long, steady note, sliding your voice up to its highest pitch and back down, or even humming your favorite song.
My personal favorite is holding a steady note, taking a deep inhale, and repeating.
